SALOME KOKOLADZE
A Soundscape Reversion, 2021
During the COVID-19 lockdown there has been a significant decrease in noise pollution worldwide. Researchers from the University of Tennessee have found that, for example, some sparrows sang 37% softer than usual during this time. For A Soundscape Reversion I collected and visualized birdsongs recorded around the world from March, 2020 to June, 2020.
